Transplant Day

;

After a 5:45 am pre op check in and the hustle and bustle of paper work,IV’s and blood draws Josh was the first to head to the OR. One more visit together before seperating for surgery. Just around an hour later it was Scott’s turn to head to his OR

At 10:45 Dr.Pomfret was starting the liver division for the LDLT. 12:15 division was successful and Scott’s new liver was being prepared for transport to his OR. Scott’s procedure will take 3-4 hours and Josh will be heading to recovery about 1:30pm.

So we are at the WAIT STATUS …(posted on behalf of Scott by sister Gloria)
