With parachute on your back, look out the door of the plane. Feel the wind on your face. Hear the roar. Jump into a free fall. Feel the adrenaline rush?

It’s crazy but there is something that makes us feel more alive when we step out into the unknown.

When was the last time you felt like that in your faith? I’ve felt it a number of times – new ventures, trips to serve the poor, telling someone about the faith that shapes my life. So scared but so alive.

I feel it now. From anxiety to excitement to fear to faith.

I think we followers of Jesus are supposed to feel this way on a regular basis. Following Jesus is not supposed the be boring.
